Asharqia chamber organizes a meeting to discuss SABIC’s initiative to Saudize contractors positions in jubail
Ashrqia chamber’s employment center organized a 3 days meeting in the chamber’s branch in Jubial. The meeting was to support SABIC’s national project to saudize contractors jobs, which is a project that SABIC has adopted in collaboration with human resources development fund, the Royal commission for Jubail and Yunbu, and the construction companies that work with SABIC and its subsidiaries.
The meeting received male high-school diploma holders, from 7 am until 4 pm. Suitable candidates’ papers and credentials were checked to by special committees. This project has a training program of 3 years that ends with employment. Candidates will go through courses for two years, and then an internship for a year in one of SABIC’s contractors company where they would be one of its team. This meeting is the result of a collaboration between Asharqia chamber and the business sector to support saudization, providing Saudis with work opportunities, as well as filling the sectors need for well-trained, qualified Saudis.
Ashrqia employment center is a center that is specialized in providing all employment services, by using the latest technologies following the highest standards and professional levels. It provides many services for job seekers as well as the business sector by cooperating with all the governmental and non- governmental specialized agencies. The center has developed a new electronic system for employment that allows job seekers to fill in a forum with their personal information and qualification so that employers can have access to a thousand of job seekers from the graduates of Saudi and international universities, colleges and institution in more than 150 major.
